Lobbying and Advocacy : GBV/Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Mental Health: SUTO works towards promoting sexual and reproductive health education, awareness, and mental health support. This includes collaboration with stakeholders to address the mental health repercussions of gender-based violence

Civic Engagement and Peace Building: : : SUTO actively engages in creating awareness among youth and women to promote democratic values. The organisation empowers citizens to play active roles in peaceful elections and referendums, ensuring their civic and voter rights are exercised

Capacity Development and Community Sensitization : SUTO provides capacity development for rural and urban youth and women groups based on their strengths. This includes community sensitization on devolution, governance, sexual gender-based violence, sexual reproductive health, and mental health.

Promoting Social Accountability : SUTO focuses on promoting horizontal social accountability in different self-help groups to catalyse the development of individual group members. This involves training community members to keep local authorities and government accountable. SUTO actively promotes citizen participation and social accountability, engaging women and youths through civic education. The focus is on monitoring and advocating for the implementation of policies that enhance citizen access to public services.
