Agribusiness Training
SUTO has engaged 80 groups of youths and women in Nyando and Muhoroni Sub-counties who successfully participated in training programs focused on agribusiness and smart farming. This enabled them to effectively utilise their kitchen gardens and small pieces of land, resulting in increased income generation. They acquired valuable skills and knowledge in agricultural practices, empowering them to improve their economic activities and enhance their livelihoods. This achievement highlights the positive impact of the training programs on women's empowerment and sustainable farming practices in the communities of Nyando and Muhoroni during the land access and rights for ownership project.

Baseline Survey & Land Use Training
A baseline survey was conducted in Nyando and Muhoroni, reaching 75% of the targeted groups. The survey gathered relevant data on income levels. Additionally, 40 individuals received training on land use and rights, which has been helpful in resolving local land disputes. As a result, the assistant county commissioner for Nyando has implemented an open-door policy to address land succession issues and assist in resolving land disputes affecting women group members.
